Job Summary: Provides administrative and HR support, including clerical tasks, compliance tracking, and employee engagement initiatives. Key Responsibilities Serve as subject matter expert on HR policies, procedures, and programs (including CBA). Manage phone calls, messages, and general office tasks. Support recruitment efforts and assist with new hire orientation and training. Ensure compliance with FMLA, wage and hour laws, and other regulations. Coordinate HR processes such as benefits enrollment, time tracking, and leave administration. Identify opportunities for process improvement and employee engagement. Prepare and maintain reports, forms, and databases. Assist with basic bookkeeping and collaborate with accounting on billing and collections. Provide customer and employee support, resolving inquiries and issues. Perform other HR and administrative duties as assigned.   Qualifications Experience with CBA and union billing preferred. Strong knowledge of HR policies, compliance, and employment law (LOA, ADA, wage/hour). Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint); HRIS experience preferred. Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities under pressure. Previous operations or bookkeeping experience helpful.
