NYC ASSOCIATE ATTORNEY - LANDLORD-TENANT LITIGATION

Outerbridge Law P.C. is seeking a sharp, motivated Associate Attorney to join our New York City practice. The ideal candidate is intelligent, dependable, and capable of managing assignments independently with minimal supervision.

This position requires regular in-person court appearances throughout all five boroughs of New York City.

Responsibilities:

• Appear in Housing Court and other courts throughout all five boroughs
• Handle landlord-tenant and housing litigation matters
• Draft pleadings, motions, affirmations, and legal correspondence
• Conduct legal research and prepare for hearings, conferences, and trials
• Communicate professionally with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel
• Manage deadlines and assigned matters independently
• Negotiate settlements and advocate effectively on behalf of clients

Qualifications:

• Admission to the New York State Bar and good standing
• Minimum 3 years of experience in Landlord-Tenant matters.
• Landlord-tenant or housing litigation experience strongly preferred
• Strong legal research, writing, analytical, and oral advocacy skills
• Ability to exercise sound judgment and work with minimal supervision
• Excellent organizational and case-management skills
• Must live within reasonable commuting distance of New York City
• Must be available for full-time employment and able to begin promptly
• Must be willing and able to appear in person in all five boroughs

Compensation: $100-$200 hourly, commensurate with experience.
