    About the Opportunity

    A rapidly expanding wound care organization is seeking a dedicated Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to join its clinical team in Xenia, Ohio. This is a facility-based role, providing wound care services across skilled nursing facilities and rehabilitation centersalways rounding with a dedicated wound care nurse, DON, or ADON. Youll never be asked to function as a solo practitioner.

    The team is led by a DNP wound care subject matter expert and former founder of one of Ohios top-performing wound care companies. Youll receive hands-on support, shared decision-making, and access to additional learning and leadership opportunities.

    What Youll Do

    • Provide advanced wound care (debridement, dressing changes, infection management, etc.) in skilled nursing and rehab settings
    • Collaborate daily with a wound care nurse, ADON, or DON to round and coordinate care
    • Assess, diagnose, and manage acute and chronic wounds
    • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
    • Educate patients, caregivers, and facility staff on wound care best practices
    • Maintain complete and accurate documentation of visits and progress
    • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and mentorship with senior leadership

    Qualifications

    • NP or PA licensed to practice in Ohio (unrestricted)
    • National certification (AANP, ANCC, NCCPA)
    • 2+ years of APP experience in wound care, geriatrics, primary care, or long-term care
    • Wound care certification (WOCNB or ABWM) preferredbut the organization will cover the cost for certification
    • Must have valid DEA, CPR/BLS certification, and willingness to work independently with ongoing support
    • Excellent communication, documentation, and patient engagement skills
    • Hospital-only experience is not a fit for this position

    Estimated Compensation

    • Base Pay: $60,000$125,000 depending on part-time vs. full-time and case complexity
    • Bonus: Additional RVU-based or complexity-based earnings
    • Benefits: Full benefits for full-time; pro-rated for part-time
