- Shift: Mon-Fri 8:00 am – 5:00 pm, with in-hospital call (3:00 pm – 7:00 am), Saturday & Sunday 24-hour onsite support
- Hours per Week: Approximately 40 hours
- Employment Type: Contract/Locum
- Licensure/Certifications: Active Nurse Practitioner license, DEA, ACLS preferred
- Experience: Preferably 2+ years in cardiothoracic surgery or hospital-based care

What You’ll Do:- Provide post-operative care for cardiothoracic and vascular patients
- Assist in emergency surgeries and procedures
- Take consults and referrals from ED, Cath Lab, and hospital providers
- Harvest veins during cardiac surgery
- Assist in surgical procedures and patient management
- Write prescriptions and coordinate care plans
- Interpret diagnostic tests and order necessary labs
- Document all care accurately in Epic EMR
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure quality patient outcomes
What You Need:- Current Nurse Practitioner license in Ohio or eligible for license transfer
- Minimum of 2 years relevant clinical experience, preferably in cardiothoracic or vascular surgery
- Skills in emergency care, surgical assist, vein harvesting, and patient rounding
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and communicate effectively
- Willingness to participate in in-house call and on-call responsibilities
