    Description

    We are seeking a compassionate, experienced, and patient-focused Nurse Practitioner to join our Urgent Care team. The NP will provide high-quality evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment for patients presenting with acute illnesses, minor injuries, and common medical conditions.


    Responsibilities

    • Evaluate and treat patients of all ages presenting with acute and non-emergent conditions.
    • Obtain comprehensive medical histories and perform physical examinations.
    • Diagnose illnesses and injuries and develop appropriate treatment plans.
    • Order and interpret laboratory tests, imaging, and diagnostic studies.
    • Prescribe medications and provide patient education.
    • Perform or assist with procedures appropriate to urgent care practice.
    • Provide follow-up recommendations and referrals when indicated.
    • Maintain accurate and timely electronic medical records.
    • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, medical assistants, and other healthcare professionals.
    • Provide compassionate, efficient, and patient-centered care.

    Qualifications

    • Current and unrestricted Nurse Practitioner license in [State].
    • Board certification as an NP (FNP, AGNP, or appropriate specialty).
    • Current DEA registration and applicable prescriptive authority.
    • Current BLS certification; ACLS certification preferred.
    • Previous urgent care, emergency medicine, primary care, or family practice experience preferred.
    • Strong clinical assessment, communication, and decision-making skills.

    Schedule

    Full-time Monday-Friday 8:00-4:30 pm, closed for lunch.
