Nurse Practitioner (NP)

Job Details: Provide and manage direct patient care, including physical examinations, evaluations, assessments, diagnoses and treatment. Orders, interprets, and evaluates diagnostic tests to identify and assess patients' clinical problems and health care needs.

Immediate Nurse Practitioner (NP) contract opportunity at our Corporate Health Center in San Carlos, CA.

Pay Rate: $110.00/hr

Work Schedule:

• 7:00am - 4:00pm (Monday to Friday)
• 40 Hours Per Week

Contract Details:

• Start: ASAP
• End: 12/31/2026 (possible extension)

Job Details:

• Provide and manage direct patient care, including physical examinations, evaluations, assessments, diagnoses and treatment
• Orders, interprets, and evaluates diagnostic tests to identify and assess patients' clinical problems and health care needs.
• Records physical findings, and formulates plan and prognosis, based on patient's condition.
• Collaborates with Physician and other health professionals to prepare comprehensive patient care plan as necessary.
• Prescribes or recommends medications or other forms of treatment such as physical therapy, inhalation therapy, or related therapeutic procedures.
• Maintains medical records

Qualifications:

• Completion of a Nurse Practitioner Program
• Epic experience a plus
• Experience in acute care or walk-in/urgent care
• Current national certification (ANCC or AANP)
• Prior clinical experience as a Nurse Practitioner in an ambulatory care, occupational health, family practice or emergency department setting.
