    Duration:9 Weeks (Possibility of Extension)

    Shift: Day ShiftSchedule: Monday – Friday, 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM 

    Job Description

    The Nuclear Medicine Technologist is responsible for operating the Nuclear Medicine Laboratory, performing diagnostic procedures, testing equipment, and educating patients and their families about procedures. The technologist must ensure all procedures are performed in accordance with applicable policies, procedures, and professional standards.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Operate and maintain nuclear medicine equipment and ensure proper functioning.

    • Perform nuclear medicine procedures in accordance with established protocols.

    • Educate patients and their families about procedures and provide necessary instructions.

    • Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout diagnostic procedures.

    • Follow all applicable policies, procedures, and regulatory standards.

    • Maintain accurate documentation and ensure proper handling of equipment.

    • Demonstrate excellent organizational and communication skills.

    • Perform duties requiring both Nuclear Medicine and CT expertise.

    Requirements

    • Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist.

    • Dual licensure in Nuclear Medicine and CT is required.

    • Associate degree in Nuclear Medicine Technology required.

    • Bachelor's degree preferred.

    • ARRT certification as a Radiologic Technologist.

    • NMTCB certification as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist.

    • Excellent organizational skills.

    • Strong communication and patient-care skills.
