Job Title: Nuclear Medicine Technician Profession: Nuclear Medicine Technician Specialty: Nuclear Medicine Technician Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day shift Hours per Shift: 8 hours Experience: Minimum of 1 year License: Current State Nuclear Medicine License Certifications: ARRT or NMTCB certification in Nuclear Medicine Technology Must-Have: - One year of acute, clinical radiology experience - At least one year of experience as a nuclear medicine technologist - Knowledge of mobile and stationary radiographic/fluoroscopic equipment - Extensive knowledge of anatomy and medical terminology - Graduate of a program accredited by JRCNMT or CAMRT - Current BCLS certification - Proficient computer skills - CT/Fusion Certification Description: The Nuclear Medicine Technologist works collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary team. The technologist supports the Radiologist by assisting in the performance of diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.
