    Successful candidates will have minimum 3+ years' experience working with a wine importer and/or distributor with an existing industry network, and must demonstrate the ability to cold-call, follow-up, assess/respond to the needs of the customer and understand the importance of building strong relationships.


    This is a unique and entrepreneurial role that is best suited for those with an entrepreneurial spirit and performs best in an autonomous role. As a member of our sales team, the candidate must be able to present our wines with knowledge, confidence and passion, as well as serve as a trusted advisor to our customers. We are seeking engaging people who are motivated to develop new relationships, expand their wine knowledge and grow with Turquoise Life.



    Key Responsibilities:



    Develop action plan to meet monthly targeted sales goals and KPI's that are in line with company objectives and priorities

    Create and develop local market opportunities

    Act as market liaison during visits from winery partners

    Work with distributor sales team in all designated markets to generate placements

    Proactively manage at least 100 key accounts, including weekly visits

    Frequently travel and visit all markets in designated territory

    Conduct staff trainings and consumer tastings on a weekly basis

    Review monthly account performance

    Create customized sales presentations to accounts



    Requirements for Success:



    Minimum 3+ years Beverage sales experience, preferably with a wine importer and/or distributor

    Uncompromising honesty and integrity

    Competitive, self-motivated and organized

    Exceptional interpersonal & communication skills

    Creativity, original thinking, and resourcefulness

    Intermediate-level wine knowledge

    Go-getter with verifiable results from previous experiences

    Established list of strong leads, prospects, and existing accounts

    Enjoy working on commission and incentive-based pay

    Reliable transportation, auto insurance and a valid driver's license

    The ability to meet physical demands of the position, including driving, walking, lifting, and carrying.
