Shift Details:Accountant Duties & Responsibilities:
Work tasks include but are not limited to the following, listed in order of importance:
Confirming checks are filled out correctly/completely
Grouping tax bill payment stubs and payment checks
Data lookups
Data entry
Processing tax payments
Preparing bank deposits
Printing of receipts
Reconciling bank deposits to batch reports
Support critical day-to-day accounting functions to maintain operational continuity during implementation activities and staffing resource constraints.
Responsibilities will include reconciling investment activity between the investment advisor and custodian statements, assisting with account analysis and reconciliations, supporting audit preparation and documentation requests, reviewing financial transactions, and assisting with reporting and other accounting-related operational needs.
Record investment transactions into investment software and reconcile to custodian/manager statements.
Prepare journal entries for posting general ledger module for monthly and quarterly activity.
Assist with preparation of financial statements and excel schedules related to foundation investments.
Maintain template for transactions to facilitate year end uploads. c Assist with quarterly reconciliations across entities.
Maintain and update excel spreadsheets for the accounting office (all entities)
Minimum Qualifications
Skills/Certifications Technical Skills: Microsoft Products (Outlook, Word, Excel, and Teams)
High School Diploma/GED
Minimum of 1 year/s of recent experience as an Accountant
Copy of all current required certifications and compliance documents
