The Heller College of Business, HCB, at Roosevelt University in Chicago, Illinois, invites applications for a full-time non-tenure track teaching Assistant Professor of Integrated Marketing and Communications, IMCMarketing. The successful candidate will demonstrate a strong commitment to high-quality undergraduate and/or graduate teaching, student engagement, and applied learning in IMCMarketing. This position emphasizes instructional excellence, curriculum delivery, and service contributions that support the mission of the department, college, and university.

Teaching of undergraduate and/or graduate IMCMarketing courses, which may include:

• Principles of IMCMarketing • Digital and Social Media Marketing • Brand Storytelling • Consumer Behavior • Integrated Marketing Communications Campaign Planning • Advertising • Media Marketing Strategy

Please note that this position will also include participation in university, college, and departmental-level service.

Applications will be reviewed in February with an expected start date for the Spring semester starting in August 2026.

Salary Range The salary range for this position is $85,000-$88,000.

Summary

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required

Years of Experience Required At least one year teaching at the university level.

Certification/Licensure Required Minimum Qualifications Masters degree in marketing, Communications, Business Administration, or a closely related field from an accredited institution.

Demonstrated ability or strong potential to teach IMCMarketing courses effectively.

Commitment to student-centered teaching and instructional excellence.

Strong communication and organizational skills.

Experience in teaching in multiple modalities, in-person, hybrid, and/or online.

Be familiar with learning management systems, such as Blackboard.

Preferred Qualifications

Prior college-level teaching experience in IMCMarketing.

Professional experience in marketing, digital marketing, branding, analytics, or related fields.

ABD or Ph.D.

Equipment Operated Working Conditions

Normal climate-controlled classroom and office environment.
