The School of Engineering in the College of Aeronautics and Engineering (CAE) at Kent State University invites applications for a full-time, non-tenure-track faculty position in Computer Engineering Technology and Cybersecurity Engineering with an expected start date of August 2026.
We seek a dynamic educator and industry-engaged professional committed to excellence in teaching, student success, and workforce development. The successful candidate will primarily support the Computer Engineering Technology program while contributing to the Cybersecurity Engineering program and related initiatives within the School of Engineering.

The School of Engineering at Kent State University is part of the College of Aeronautics and Engineering, one of the few academic environments in the nation that intentionally integrates engineering, engineering technology, and aeronautics within a single college. Faculty and students have access to state-of-the-art and state-of-industry laboratories, including dedicated networking laboratories, server administration laboratories, a cybersecurity range, computing laboratories, and recently expanded instructional and research facilities. These resources support experiential learning and provide students with practical skills that prepare them for immediate success in industry, government, and advanced technology organizations.

Working Conditions / Physical Requirements:
Light work-Exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 10 pounds of force frequently to move objects. Incumbent must be able to communicate with others. Incumbent may be required to travel from building to building frequently and off campus occasionally.
