Compensation

Regenis is looking for a talented Night Shift Operations and Maintenance Technician to join the team full-time. This position pays $32.50 - $40 an hour.

Job Description

This position is responsible for handling maintenance and daily after-hours operational duties at Renewable Energy Facilities, within appropriate scope of practice, while adhering to Regenis company policies and standards. Actual duties may include some or all duties listed below.

We’re looking for someone who takes ownership of their work, demonstrates initiative, and is eager to learn and grow. The ideal candidate is a self-starter who follows established processes and seeks support when needed to troubleshoot and maintain controls and instrumentation.

Key responsibilities:

  • Ability and willingness to perform all Operations and Maintenance Technician duties as required.
  • Ability to identify and determine when additional support is needed and contact on-call operators for assistance
  • Maintain site cleanliness and appearance
  • Responds to phone messages, emails, and text messages in timely manner.
  • Comply with all applicable standards, policies, or procedures, maintaining a clean work area.
  • Demonstrate a thorough understanding of all site operations, recording, and reporting activities.
  • Ensure all site safety documentation and record keeping is being performed in accordance with project and Regenis requirements including but not limited to daily Job Hazard Analysis (JHA), confined space permits, hot work permits, etc.
  • Ensure all operator/maintenance logs are complete and up to date with all pertinent information for on going/off going shift relief.
  • Scheduling upcoming site work.
  • Learn the CMMS software and be able to make changes to the system if and when asked to by the Regenis Operations and Maintenance Manager.
  • Manage site parts and equipment inventory ensuring proper documentation of site inventory as well as working with the Regenis Operations and Maintenance Manager to communicate and facilitate ordering of replacement parts as needed.
  • Correspond with dairy personnel and maintain positive relationship with the dairy.
  • Be the main point of contact for the Regenis Operations and Maintenance Manager for all items related to after-hours site operation, staffing, documentation, etc.
  • Communicate site needs and status to Regenis Operations and Maintenance Manager in a timely and professional manner.
  • Seek assistance as needed and ask questions in a timely manner and to appropriate staff.
  • Flexibility and willingness to work night shifts, including weekend and after-hours work.
  • Participate in meetings with dairy personnel and/or Ownership team as necessary to communicate site operations and/or to fill in for Regenis Operations and Maintenance Manager if that person is not available and site representation is needed.
  • Provide Regenis Operations and Maintenance Manager with support and information, as necessary, to approve invoices, Operator time, etc.
  • Ability to take in site information and make sound business decisions based on the information that is available.
  • Capable of locating, reading and understanding Site Specific Safety Plans in case of emergency.
  • Additional duties as assigned.

Minimum Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Adheres to assigned work schedule (attendance and punctuality).
  • Ability to safely operate company vehicle during nighttime or dark conditions in unlit areas.
  • Ability to use Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word) to properly record operating performance
  • Able to work in inclement weather and dirty conditions
  • Physically able to lift and/or maneuver motors, pumps, gear boxes and pipe, sometimes with weight exceeding 100 lbs
    • Electrical, mechanical and/or welding experience preferred
  • Drug-free, including Cannabis - must be able to pass drug test and be part of random testing program
    • Regenis' work is safety-sensitive.

Location

This position will be based at the Company’s Greeley, Colorado locations.
