Responsibilities:
Create a "wow" front-end experience in the store
Assist associates in creating an overwhelmingly helpful front-end staff
Provide "Superior Guest Service" when assisting all guests
Communicate any front-end incompetencies to store bookkeeper/store manager
Guide cashiers in prioritizing their job responsibilities
Maintain quick and efficient check-out procedures
Ensure front of store cleanliness
Balance cash drawers
Provide service at desk for lottery, money orders, returns, etc.
Effectively resolve complaints
Ensure front-end associates are in proper dress code
Promote teamwork between front-end associates and management
Maintain proper functioning of front-end equipment
Requirements:
High school degree or equivalent
Experience with POS systems and cash registers
Basic computer knowledge
Good math skills
Excellent communication skills
Ability to work nights, holidays, and weekends
Physical ability to carry, push, pull, bend, squat, climb, and lift objects overhead
Tolerance for temperature differentials
