Network Installation Technician (HW/SW)

Hands on experience installing, configuring, integrating, and validating network hardware and software components across classified and unclassified environments, including routers, switches, firewalls, servers, and virtual infrastructure. Ideal candidate will support installing, integrating, and troubleshooting network hardware, software, and virtual infrastructure in secure environments while ensuring compliance with the client s cybersecurity requirements.

MUST:
Active DoW Secret clearance
7+ years of professional experience around Network Operations, Hardware/Software installation or enterprise IT infrastructure administration
5+ years of progressive experience in Network Operations, Hardware/Software installation or enterprise IT infrastructure administration in a Microsoft environment
Basic foundation or familiarity with Artificial Intelligence (AI) concepts and responsible use of AI-assisted tools
Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
High attention to detail
Very analytical with strong problem-solving skills
Strong Documentation skills
One of the following certs is required: Cisco CCNP Enterprise or CompTIA Security+ce
Bachelor s degree in information technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field

DUTIES:
Ideal candidate will support installing, integrating, and troubleshooting network hardware, software, and virtual infrastructure in secure environments while ensuring compliance with the client s cybersecurity requirements
Hands on experience installing, configuring, integrating, and validating network hardware and software components across classified and unclassified environments, including routers, switches, firewalls, servers, and virtual infrastructure
Executing advanced network installations and upgrades in accordance with approved engineering designs, STIGs, and change management processes
Performing advanced troubleshooting of network connectivity, performance, and interoperability issues across hardware and software layers
Leading or independently performing site installations, technology refreshes, and system cutovers with minimal supervision
Validating network operability and security posture following installation activities, ensuring compliance with DoW /DoN cybersecurity and operational requirements
Developing and maintain technical documentation, including installation guides, as built diagrams, and configuration baselines
Coordinating with government personnel, engineers, cybersecurity teams, and vendors to ensure mission alignment and successful delivery
Performing additional duties as assigned in support of evolving contract requirements and client needs
Understanding the organizational policies and procedures for accuracy of solutions and deliverables to the client
