    Project work including

    Desktop installs

    Network hardware installations (Switches, WAPS)

    Firewall Installations

    Unified Communication (VoIP) installations-(voice over internet protocol)

    ISP Cutovers

    Assisting other engineers with project tasks

    Pre-scheduled onsite/remote visits with clients to perform IT Checklist

    Network Administration tasks (tasks include server health checks, test

    backup/restores, antivirus updates, OS service packs, critical updates, and server

    event log reviews)

    Act as an internal Network Administrator, resolve network problems as necessary.

    Review network infrastructure and make recommendations for improvements.

    On-Site dispatches

    Scheduled onsite dispatches for issues the NOC cannot resolve

    remotely.

    Desktop Productivity Tools (Office Suites)

    Prerequisites:

    Excellent people skills

    Organized with the ability to follow through.

    Understanding and experience with Microsoft Windows products, local and wide area networks, hardware, and desktop operating systems.

    Advancement:

    Professional Development plan to enable FST engineer to advance to Systems

    Engineer/Senior Systems Engineer
