We are seeking a Senior Process Engineer to lead manufacturing process improvements, troubleshoot complex production challenges, and support strategic operational initiatives. This position is designed to transition into a critical senior engineering function as part of a long-term succession plan.

Description

  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives focused on reducing scrap, downtime, and manufacturing costs.
  • Provide advanced technical support to production teams and resolve complex process and equipment issues.
  • Drive process optimization efforts to improve throughput, efficiency, quality, and productivity.
  • Manage engineering projects including equipment upgrades, capital improvements, and process development activities.
  • Partner closely with Operations, Production, Quality, and Engineering teams to identify and implement sustainable solutions.
  • Develop, update, and maintain process documentation, manufacturing procedures, and work instructions.
  • Lead root cause investigations and corrective action activities related to quality concerns, customer issues, and process deviations.
  • Support new product introductions by facilitating successful transfers from R&D into full-scale production.
  • Collaborate with suppliers on material qualifications, performance improvements, and cost reduction opportunities.
  • Train and mentor manufacturing personnel on new processes, procedures, and best practices.
  • Champion environmental, safety, and quality standards while fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

Profile

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related technical field with 8+ years of Process Engineering experience in manufacturing.
  • Strong troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and hands-on problem-solving abilities on the production floor.
  • Proven experience driving process improvements, cost reduction initiatives, scrap reduction, and efficiency gains.
  • Ability to work closely with operators, supervisors, and cross-functional teams to support production objectives.
  • Experience with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, SPC, PFMEA, and continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Knowledge of ISO-regulated manufacturing environments and process documentation best practices.
  • Experience supporting new product introductions, R&D-to-manufacturing transfers, and employee training initiatives.
  • Wire & cable manufacturing experience and CAD software proficiency (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar) are preferred.
