We are seeking a Senior Process Engineer to lead manufacturing process improvements, troubleshoot complex production challenges, and support strategic operational initiatives. This position is designed to transition into a critical senior engineering function as part of a long-term succession plan.

Description
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives focused on reducing scrap, downtime, and manufacturing costs.
- Provide advanced technical support to production teams and resolve complex process and equipment issues.
- Drive process optimization efforts to improve throughput, efficiency, quality, and productivity.
- Manage engineering projects including equipment upgrades, capital improvements, and process development activities.
- Partner closely with Operations, Production, Quality, and Engineering teams to identify and implement sustainable solutions.
- Develop, update, and maintain process documentation, manufacturing procedures, and work instructions.
- Lead root cause investigations and corrective action activities related to quality concerns, customer issues, and process deviations.
- Support new product introductions by facilitating successful transfers from R&D into full-scale production.
- Collaborate with suppliers on material qualifications, performance improvements, and cost reduction opportunities.
- Train and mentor manufacturing personnel on new processes, procedures, and best practices.
- Champion environmental, safety, and quality standards while fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
Profile
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related technical field with 8+ years of Process Engineering experience in manufacturing.
- Strong troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and hands-on problem-solving abilities on the production floor.
- Proven experience driving process improvements, cost reduction initiatives, scrap reduction, and efficiency gains.
- Ability to work closely with operators, supervisors, and cross-functional teams to support production objectives.
- Experience with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, SPC, PFMEA, and continuous improvement methodologies.
- Knowledge of ISO-regulated manufacturing environments and process documentation best practices.
- Experience supporting new product introductions, R&D-to-manufacturing transfers, and employee training initiatives.
- Wire & cable manufacturing experience and CAD software proficiency (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar) are preferred.
