    Description

    iMPact Business Group is assisting a very successful Manufacturing client hire a Network Engineer Team Lead.  This role is 60% Technical and 40% supervision, solving Technical problems and mentoring and growing staff.  Think of this role as a hands-on working manager role.

    This role provides advanced hands‑on engineering support for enterprise and hybrid cloud network infrastructure while serving as a technical leader and mentor for a team of network engineers.  Primary focus is on Cisco and related Network technologies.
     
    • Responsible for guiding technical strategy, supporting team development, improving operational processes, and partnering closely with management to drive execution.
    • The Lead Network Engineer remains deeply engaged in complex network design, implementation, and troubleshooting while ensuring the team delivers reliable, secure, and scalable network services aligned with business objectives. 
    • Experience with MPLS, LAN/WAN, Meraki, and Cisco switches
    • Leads/trains/mentors Network Administrators and Network Engineers

    LOCATION: This job requires working on-site 5 days a week in Grand Rapids, MI at the Corporate Data Center
