Network Engineer - Tallahassee, FL
Duration: 9 months, Onsite
Seeking a Senior Network Engineer to assist the Office of Information Technology with establishing new integration methods and standards, implementing system integrations, and maintaining network security.
Key Responsibilities:
Configure and document firewall infrastructure and access rules.
Deploy firewalls, migrate rules, and administer firewall policies.
Manage core network infrastructure devices and cloud network infrastructure.
Develop and maintain documentation following NIST guidelines.
Lead technical evaluations and product assessments for networking and cybersecurity solutions.
Provide advanced technical support and consultation on complex network and cybersecurity issues.
Design and support enterprise network infrastructure, including LAN/WAN, VPNs, and cloud connectivity.
Experience:
5 to 10 years of combined IT and security work experience.
3 to 5 years of experience with information security tools based on NIST standards.
Experience with NGFW Palo Alto or Checkpoint security products preferred.
Experience using schematic diagramming tools for infrastructure layouts.
