Job Summary (List Format):

- Immediate, short-term contract position for a PHP and WordPress Developer to restore and stabilize the NC Museum of Natural Sciences (NCMNS) website.
- Diagnose and repair issues preventing WordPress login, restoring admin and content management access.
- Troubleshoot and fix problems with static pages to allow live updates.
- Review and stabilize the codebase, including identifying and resolving issues with custom PHP code, outdated plugins, and legacy configurations.
- Make minor content and navigation updates to improve usability and ease of content management.
- Provide recommendations for short-term website maintenance, essential updates, and monitoring.
- Document all repairs, fixes, and maintenance recommendations for the NCMNS team.
- Requires 5+ years of experience in PHP and WordPress development, including diagnosing and repairing login and codebase issues.
- Must be available for immediate start; possible short extension to complete work as needed.
