Position Overview Georgia State University's Instructional Innovation and Technology (IIT) division is seeking a skilled professional to join our vibrant and growing team as a Multimedia Communications Specialist, Intermediate. The Multimedia Communications Specialist, Intermediate is responsible for writing, designing, and developing materials to support use and adoption of university technology tools, IT services, and innovation initiatives. Working under the supervision of the IIT Director of Communications, the position collaborates with subject matter experts, technology systems administrators, and other communications team members, to develop technical documentation, knowledgebase articles, web pages, graphics, visualizations, video learning materials, and interactive multimedia content that meets university standards. The ideal candidate has experience translating technical processes into common language for non-technical users, creating documentation through a problem-solving approach, and is excited about amplifying the reach and types of documentation available to our organization. It is also helpful to have experience with screen capture videos and website maintenance. NOTE: This role requires on-site work. Remote or hybrid work options are not available.
