We are seeking an experienced MuleSoft Integration Developer with 6 8 years of experience in designing, developing, and supporting enterprise integration solutions using the MuleSoft Anypoint Platform. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Mule 4.x, API development, DataWeave, REST/SOAP integrations, and CI/CD practices. This role involves building scalable integration solutions, preparing technical designs, supporting deployments, and collaborating with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze business and technical requirements and translate them into MuleSoft-based integration solutions.
  • Prepare Low-Level Design (LLD) documents for APIs and integration components following enterprise standards.
  • Design, develop, and implement RESTful and SOAP APIs using MuleSoft Anypoint Platform and Anypoint Studio.
  • Develop complex data transformations using DataWeave.
  • Implement integration patterns, exception handling, logging, and security best practices.
  • Perform unit testing, integration testing, defect fixing, and code reviews.
  • Support application deployments through CI/CD pipelines across Development, QA, UAT, and Production environments.
  • Participate in production releases, post-deployment validation, and stabilization activities.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve production issues while ensuring application reliability and performance.
  • Maintain technical documentation, API specifications, runbooks, and version-controlled artifacts.
  • Collaborate with architects, business analysts, QA teams, and other developers throughout the SDLC.
  • Follow Agile development practices and participate in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives.

Required Skills

  • 6 8 years of experience in integration development.
  • Strong hands-on experience with MuleSoft Anypoint Platform (Mule 4.x).
  • Experience developing REST/JSON and SOAP/XML services.
  • Strong proficiency in DataWeave for data transformation.
  • Experience with:
    • Anypoint Studio
    • API Manager
    • Anypoint Exchange
  • Strong understanding of enterprise integration patterns and API-led connectivity.
  • Experience implementing API security using OAuth 2.0, tokens, and authentication mechanisms.
  • Hands-on experience with Git, GitLab, Jenkins, or other CI/CD tools.
  • Experience with API lifecycle management, deployment, and version control.
  • Good understanding of SDLC, Agile/Scrum, and software development best practices.
  • Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with CloudHub or Runtime Fabric deployments.
  • Knowledge of API governance and enterprise integration architecture.
  • Exposure to Azure, AWS, or GCP cloud platforms.
  • Experience integrating enterprise applications such as Salesforce, SAP, Oracle, or ServiceNow.
  • MuleSoft certification (Developer Level 1 or above) is a plus.
