Monitor Technician

Position Summary:

Sets up, connects and monitors cardiac telemetry systems. Maintains unit cardiac telemetry records for monitored patients.Reports abnormalities, instabilities, or changes in patient's ECG to Registered Nurse caring for the patient.

Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide all units of measure using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
