Responsibilities:Assess missile defense system capability gaps, challenges, needs, and opportunities against current and future threats to develop potential architecture solutions that mitigate gaps and/or improve performance Assist with the development of analysis plans, execute MDS simulation tools utilizing the DoD High-Performance Computing (HPC) systems, assess analysis results, prepare analysis briefs/reports, and provide reviews of analysis products Support modeling & simulation (M&S) efforts related to the above to tailor tools to specific analysis plansTravel may be requiredRequired Skills/Experience:Bachelor's Degree in STEM field7+ years of experienceActive Secret clearance required with the ability to obtain a TS/SCISolid understanding of the current MDS architecture and future conceptsExperience in modeling, assessment, and evaluation of future missile defense architecturesExperience with MATLAB Desired Skills/Experience:Active TS/SCI ClearanceExperience with the definition and use of advanced concepts and algorithms for the M&S of MDS architecturesExperience with M&S and analysis of MDS architectures involving both directed and kinetic energy weapons and other future conceptsExperience with HPC Systems, Python, and Git is a plusExperience with BMD BenchmarkExperience supporting systems engineering-related architecture design activitiesAbility to perform technology assessment & analysis and provide insight on the utility of potentially useful technologiesSpecialized MDS analysis experience in: threat characterization, trajectories, RF sensing/signatures, and/or EO/IR sensing/signaturesMBSE experience related to missile defense system architecturesAPPLY TODAY!
