    Job Description

    What you will be doing:

    • Advise institutional investors, developers, and private equity clients on a wide range of commercial real estate matters.
    • Structure and execute acquisitions, dispositions, and financings across diverse asset classes (office, retail, logistics, healthcare/senior living, student housing, hospitality, data centers).
    • Draft and negotiate purchase and sale agreements, loan documents, commercial leases, and joint venture agreements.
    • Conduct and manage due diligence, including title, survey, environmental, and zoning reviews.
    • Advise on development projects from entitlement through completion.
    • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across tax, construction, planning & zoning, and other practice areas.
    • Support clients with day-to-day operational real estate matters, including lease amendments, assignments, subleases, and tenant issues.

    Experience you will need:

    • J.D. from an accredited U.S. law school with strong academic credentials.
    • 5 – 7 years of commercial real estate experience at a nationally recognized law firm.
    • Admission to the Colorado bar (or admission pending).
    • Demonstrated experience in real estate transactions, including acquisitions, dispositions, financing, and leasing.
    • Exceptional drafting, negotiation, and communication skills.
    • Experience with multi-jurisdictional transactions.
    • Familiarity with real estate development and capital markets structures.
    • Exposure to institutional clients, private equity funds, and REITs.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Commercial mindset with a client-first approach.
    • Collaborative team player who thrives in a fast-paced, high-performance environment.
