Our client, an IT Services and Consulting company, is looking for a Microsoft Power Platform – Power BI & Power Automate Developer for their Houston, TX location.
 
Responsibilities:

• This role is for a team member with seven to eleven years of experience who will design and deliver advanced analytics solutions using Power BI Power Apps and Power Automate in a global office based environment. The team member will transform complex business requirements into secure scalable and intuitive reports apps and automation workflows that improve operational efficiency and decision quality. The role focuses on creating data driven experiences that help the organization serve customers
• Design and develop interactive Power BI dashboards and paginated reports using Power BI Report Builder that translate diverse business requirements into clear visual insights supporting accurate and timely decision making across the organization. -Implement efficient data models for MS Power BI solutions by integrating multiple enterprise data sources optimizing query performance and ensuring data consistency so that reports and analytics remain reliable and scalable for growing business needs.
• -Create and enhance Power Apps solutions leveraging AI Builder capabilities to automate document processing prediction and classification tasks thereby reducing manual effort and enabling faster data driven responses to operational challenges.
• Configure and maintain canvas and model driven Power Apps that offer intuitive user experiences and secure access controls ensuring that business users can perform daily tasks with minimal friction while protecting sensitive information.
• Design end to end automation workflows using Power Automate Development and MS Power Automate AI to streamline recurring processes such as approvals notifications and data synchronization improving process accuracy and throughput.
• Build and monitor MS Power Automate solutions that integrate with common enterprise platforms including collaboration and productivity tools so cross functional teams experience seamless data and task flows during day shift office operations. Analyze existing reporting application and workflow solutions to identify optimization opportunities and then refactor or enhance Power BI Power Apps and Power Automate components to reduce latency errors and maintenance overhead.
• Collaborate closely with business stakeholders and technical peers to gather requirements validate solution designs and conduct walkthroughs ensuring that every deliverable aligns with strategic objectives and creates tangible value for the company and society.
• Develop robust testing scenarios for reports apps and automation flows including functional validation edge case coverage and user acceptance activities so deployed solutions work consistently in the office environment without unexpected failures.
• Provide day to day operational support for Power BI Power Apps and Power Automate assets by troubleshooting incidents performing root cause analysis and implementing preventive fixes that maintain high service availability without requiring travel.
• Document solution architectures configuration details and usage guidelines in a clear and structured manner so that other team members can maintain enhance and reuse components effectively across projects and organizational units.
• Share platform knowledge and best practices with colleagues through demos reviews and informal mentoring enabling wider adoption of analytics automation and AI capabilities that contribute to better services and societal outcomes.
• Align development and operational activities with organizational standards for security compliance and quality ensuring that all Power Platform solutions respect privacy expectations and uphold trust with customers and communities.

 
Requirements:

• Years of Experience: 7 to 11 Yrs
• MS Power BI, MS Power Automate, Power Apps, Power BI Report Builder, Power Apps  AI Builder, Power Automate Development, MS Power Automate AI
• Possess seven to eleven years of professional experience in data analytics and low code solution development demonstrating consistent hands on delivery of complex business applications using the Microsoft Power Platform.
• Demonstrate strong expertise in MS Power BI including data modeling DAX calculation design and advanced visualization techniques enabling construction of insightful and performant dashboards and paginated reports with Power BI Report Builder.
• Show proven capability in building and maintaining Power Apps solutions using both canvas and model driven approaches where user experience security configuration and integration design are handled with attention to detail.
• Exhibit practical experience with Power Apps AI Builder by implementing prediction form processing and classification models that enhance automation accuracy and reduce manual verification efforts in daily workflows.
• Display deep skills in Power Automate Development including MS Power Automate AI by designing resilient flows error handling logic and connectors that efficiently orchestrate tasks across multiple systems during office based day operations.
• Bring familiarity with MS Power Automate governance and environment management practices so that flows apps and connections are deployed securely monitored effectively and maintained according to organizational policies.
• Hold solid understanding of relational and cloud data sources along with query and transformation concepts allowing design of reliable data pipelines feeding Power BI and Power Apps solutions for enterprise reporting and automation.
• Demonstrate clear written and verbal communication abilities to collaborate with cross functional teams translate business challenges into technical designs and explain analytics and automation outputs in accessible terms.
• Exhibit awareness of ethical and responsible use of data and AI by applying appropriate controls checks and transparency mechanisms ensuring that solutions support fair outcomes and positive societal impact.
