Description

Our client, a IT Services and Consulting company, is looking for a Microservices Lead (Python, Core Java & GenAI) for their Plano, TX/Hybrid location.
 
Responsibilities:

  • Design robust distributed application architectures using Python, core Java, and microservices that deliver scalable and maintainable enterprise solutions for complex business needs and must have worked using GenAI tools.
  • Define high level and detailed technical blueprints that translate business requirements into clear implementation patterns, ensuring reusability, modularity, and long term adaptability.
  • Evaluate existing systems and services to identify architectural gaps, technical debt, and opportunities for modernization, proposing practical migration strategies that minimize risk and downtime.
  • Guide end to end solution design covering application, data, integration, and security layers to ensure consistent standards, compatibility, and compliance across the technology landscape.
  • Collaborate with product and engineering teams to shape technical features and APIs, ensuring microservices interact efficiently and support future enhancements without fragile dependencies.
  • Establish coding practices and architectural guardrails for Python and core Java services, promoting clean code, performance optimization, and reliable error handling for production robustness.
  • Review design documents, sequence diagrams, and interface contracts to validate that microservices follow agreed principles and support smooth deployment into hybrid environments.
  • Conduct technical assessments of new tools, frameworks, and cloud native patterns that can strengthen microservices resilience, scalability, and observability while optimizing cost and resource usage.
  • Mentor senior developers on architectural patterns such as domain driven design, event based communication, and service decomposition, helping teams deliver solutions aligned with enterprise direction.
  • Partner with stakeholders to incorporate pricing optimization concepts into solution design where relevant, enabling data driven decision flows that improve margins and customer satisfaction.
  • Ensure non functional requirements such as performance, security, reliability, and maintainability are built into architectural decisions, using benchmarks and design reviews to validate outcomes.
  • Document architectural decisions, integration approaches, and service boundaries clearly so that distributed teams can implement and maintain solutions consistently in a hybrid work model.
  • Coordinate with operations and platform teams to ensure architectures support efficient monitoring, incident response, and continuous improvement for day shift delivery and support.
  • Develop and support Java & Python microservices for enterprise applications.
  • Preferred certifications include AWS Certified Solutions Architect or equivalent cloud architecture certification relevant to microservices based solutions.
  • This hybrid Architect role focuses on designing scalable enterprise solutions using Python, core Java, and microservices to power complex business platforms.
  • The architect will define end to end technical architectures, harmonize application components, and guide implementation to achieve high performance, security, and reliability. Exposure to pricing optimization domains will help shape data driven and customer centric capabilities for impactful outcomes across global markets.
 
Requirements:
  • Must have worked on the projects using GenAI based projects and have AI based skills.
  • Experience : 11to14Yrs

  • Demonstrate strong expertise in architecting enterprise solutions using Python and core Java, with a track record of designing microservices that operate reliably at scale. Apply deep understanding of microservices patterns including service discovery, configuration management, and fault tolerance to build resilient distributed systems. Use advanced knowledge of API design, data modeling, and integration practices to create services that are easy to consume, test, and extend across multiple business domains. Bring solid experience in performance tuning, memory management, and concurrency within Python and core Java applications to achieve high throughput and responsive user experiences.
  • Leverage exposure to pricing optimization or related analytical domains to shape architectures that support complex pricing strategies and continuous experimentation. Exhibit strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively in hybrid teams, aligning architects and engineers around shared technical direction without formal leadership responsibilities.
  • Preferred certifications include AWS Certified Solutions Architect or equivalent cloud architecture certification relevant to microservices based solutions.
