The Manager, Talent Acquisition plays a key role in bringing this to life-leading a high-performing recruitment team, shaping strategy, and ensuring a consistent, high-quality experience for candidates and hiring leaders across the organization.

    Key Accountabilities

    Lead and Develop the Talent Acquisition Team

    • Provide leadership, direction, and coaching to recruiters and team members

    • Establish clear performance expectations and hold the team accountable to outcomes

    • Support development through feedback, training, and growth opportunities

    • Ensure timely completion of team deliverables and alignment to organizational goals

    Drive Talent Acquisition Strategy and Operations

    • Oversee recruiting processes to ensure efficiency, consistency, and compliance

    • Serve as a subject matter expert on complex or high-impact recruitment needs

    • Continuously evaluate and improve processes to enhance effectiveness and experience

    Partner with Leaders Across the Organization

    • Build strong relationships with senior operational leaders to understand workforce needs

    • Act as a strategic partner, aligning recruiting efforts to business priorities

    • Maintain accountability for the quality and delivery of talent acquisition services

    Manage RPO and External Partnerships

    • Serve as the primary liaison between Texas Children's and the RPO partner

    • Ensure alignment on goals, service delivery, and performance expectations

    • Collaborate with partners to drive results and improve outcomes

    Collaborate Across HR and the Organization

    • Partner with HR leaders and peers to support enterprise initiatives

    • Align on priorities, process improvements, and change management efforts

    • Ensure consistent communication and shared accountability across team

    Qualifications

    Education

    • Bachelor's degree required

    • Master's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred

    Experience

    • Minimum 4 years of professional experience in Human Resources, healthcare, or business consulting

    • At least 2 years of leadership or project management experience

    • Talent Acquisition experience in a large healthcare system preferred

    • Prior formal people leadership experience

    Certifications (Preferred)

    • SPHR or SHRM certification
