Job Description

As a MEP Project Manager in Buffalo, NY, you will:

  • Manage MEP construction projects from award through completion
  • Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and forecasts
  • Track project financial performance and profitability
  • Coordinate field teams, subcontractors, suppliers, and clients
  • Manage RFIs, submittals, change orders, and procurement activities
  • Lead project meetings and maintain stakeholder communication
  • Review contracts and ensure compliance with project requirements
  • Identify project risks and implement mitigation strategies
  • Collaborate closely with Superintendents and field personnel
  • Maintain strong client relationships throughout the project lifecycle
  • Support project closeout, turnover, and warranty processes
  • Provide regular reporting to senior project leadership

The Successful Applicant

The successful MEP Project Manager will have:

  • 5+ years of Project Management experience
  • Strong MEP construction background
  • Experience managing project financials, forecasting, and budgeting
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong understanding of contracts, change management, and project controls
  • Proven ability to build and maintain client relationships
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency with construction management software and Microsoft Office Suite

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with mechanical, electrical, plumbing, or design-build projects
  • Background managing commercial, healthcare, industrial, or institutional projects
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field
  • Experience working within large-scale MEP contracting organizations
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively with executive and senior project leadership
