Men's Sportswear Graphic Designer to create trend-right sportswear collections and original graphics for men's apparel.
Salary/Hourly Rate: $30/hr - $40/hr
Position Overview: The Men's Sportswear Graphic Designer will design men's activewear and sportswear collections while creating original, trend-relevant graphics for apparel including sweatshirts, sweatpants, T-shirts, shorts, and headwear.
This is an ongoing temporary opportunity with potential for permanent conversion based on performance and business needs.
Responsibilities of the Men's Sportswear Graphic Designer:- Design seasonal men's activewear and sportswear collections.
- Create original graphics and artwork for T-shirts, sweatshirts, sweatpants, shorts, headwear, and other sportswear.
- Research trends, colours, graphics, and market insights to develop innovative product concepts.
- Collaborate with design and product development teams to bring concepts to life.
- Apply knowledge of fabric, colour, and garment construction to design concepts.
- Translate trend research and market insights into commercially relevant product.
- Manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Required Experience/Skills for the Men's Sportswear Graphic Designer:- 4+ years of experience in graphic design, apparel design, or a related role.
- Experience designing graphics for men's sportswear or activewear.
- Strong understanding of apparel graphics and print design.
- Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop.
- Understanding of fashion trends, colour, fabrics, and garment construction.
- Detail-oriented and highly organised.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple deadlines.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Preferred Experience/Skills for the Men's Sportswear Graphic Designer:- Men's apparel or sportswear design experience.
- Fashion industry experience.
- Experience with T-shirts, sweatshirts, sweatpants, shorts, and headwear.
- Strong understanding of current men's fashion and sportswear trends.
- Experience working in a fast-paced fashion environment.
Education Requirements:- Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Fashion Design, or a related field preferred.
