A hospital laboratory in the Kansas City area is seeking an experienced Medical Technologist (ASCP) for a consistent night schedule. ASCP, CLS (NCA), or qualifying categorical certification such as BB(ASCP), C(ASCP), I(ASCP), H(ASCP), or M(ASCP), or equivalent.

Position Highlights

• Full-time
• Night shift
• Thursday – Sunday 
• Flexible 10-hour shifts
• Hospital Blood Bank experience strongly preferred

What You'll Do

 

• Perform laboratory testing and report results
• Handle Blood Bank and other clinical testing
• Perform quality control and troubleshoot issues
• Maintain laboratory equipment and supplies
• Support quality and process improvements
• Help train new laboratory staff

 

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Medical Technology or a related science
• ASCP, CLS (NCA), or qualifying categorical certification such as BB(ASCP), C(ASCP), I(ASCP), H(ASCP), or M(ASCP), or equivalent
• Hospital Blood Bank experience strongly preferred
