Job Summary:
Interventional Radiology Technician in an inpatient setting. This role involves supporting advanced interventional radiology procedures, managing equipment, and ensuring patient safety and comfort during various vascular and body IR interventions. The position requires flexibility to float within scope across departments and facilities as needed.
Job Details:
- Schedule: 10-hour shifts, minimum of 40 hours per week. Start date is 10/26/2026 and end date is 01/25/2027.
- Required Qualifications: Certification in American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in Radiography (ARRT R), Basic Life Support (BLS), with at least 2 years of experience in interventional radiology or specialized procedures.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience with charting systems such as Epic, and community hospital experience is a plus.
- Specific Skills & Responsibilities: Accessing and managing ports, performing adrenal angiography, angioplasty, carotid angiography, central venous access and port placement, dialysis graft interventions, embolization procedures, stent placements, thrombolysis/thrombectomy, TIPS procedures, and upper and lower extremity angiography. Knowledge of sterile techniques, maintaining equipment, managing inventory, PACS, and managing supplies.
- On-Call & Float: On-call coverage required; regular floating within scope to meet facility needs may be required between departments, units, and facilities.
- Other Requirements: No local candidates accepted within a 75-mile radius. Travel experience not specified.
- Special Requirements: Experience with stroke, body IR, neuro IR, Siemens equipment. Certification in ARRT, BLS required.
