Experience:
• 12 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.
• 24 months of Medical Surgical Unit experience with 12 months worked in the last 3 years.
• Travel experience is required.
• Experience with Epic is required.
• 24 months of Trauma Level 2 facility is required.
Requirements:
• Candidates must have a North Dakota license or compact license (required for submission).
• This role may require floating to additional units and locations
• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >60 miles from facility to be submitted.
• 6 months gap required between for Staff at Program: Medical Solutions Plus Program - Sanford Health and no current placement allowed at Program: Medical Solutions Plus Program - Sanford Health.

Additional Details:
Resume: Each employment history entry must include all the following: detailed duties, hospital size, unit size, trauma level (if applicable), patient ratio, teaching facility. Any employment gaps greater than 30 days must be explained.
References: At least one reference must be from the same unit/specialty as the job you’re applying to.
Skills Checklist: Cannot contain any N/As; all lines must have a numerical rating.
Required Skills/Experience: - Minimum 2 years of recent Medical Surgical experience, working in a larger hospital (200 beds minimum), level 2 or higher trauma center. - Travel experience required, unless multiple years of experience in a large level 1 experience.
Preferred Skills/Experience: - Experience with surgical oncology patients preferred.
Special Requests: - Must take full 6 months off from any Good Samaritan Society and Marshfield Clinic Health System location as well. - Must disclose previous employment on your resume or elsewhere within the submission for a DNU check. - Must disclose any previous Sanford Health employment. If previously worked with Sanford Health, the end date must be at least 6 months prior to submission.
Unit Details: - Medical-surgical and surgical oncology patients. - Uses AccuDose, bladder scanner, Phillips monitors, and telemetry. - Nurse-to-patient ratio: 5:1 day shift and 6:1 night shift.
Shift & Scheduling: - Every other weekend and holiday.
Floating Requirements: - Home unit 5SE but can float to any med/surg unit on any campus.
14 days maximum time off
2 Charge/Lead references required from within the last 12 months
Driver’s license required for submission
Certifications:
• BLS (Basic Life Support)
