Experience:
• 12 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.
• 12 months of Medical Surgical Unit experience with 12 months worked in the last 3 years.
• Travel experience is required.
• Experience with Epic is required.
• Trauma Level 2 experience is required.
Requirements:
• Candidates must have a North Dakota license or compact license (required for submission).
• This role may require floating to additional units and locations
• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >60 miles from facility to be submitted.
• 6 months gap required between for Staff at Program: Medical Solutions Plus Program - Sanford Health and no current placement allowed at Program: Medical Solutions Plus Program - Sanford Health.

Additional Details:
Required Skills/Experience: - 2 years of Med Surg experience; will not consider first-time travelers. - Must have recent travel experience, showing completed travel assignments and not currently on a first travel assignment.
Preferred Skills/Experience: - Travel experience within the last year preferred.
Special Requests: - Each employment history entry must include detailed duties, hospital size, unit size, trauma level (if applicable), patient ratio, and whether it was a teaching facility. - Any employment gaps greater than 30 days must be explained. - At least one reference must be from the same unit/specialty as the job. - Must disclose any previous Sanford Health employment within the submission for a DNU check. - If previously employed by Sanford Health, the end date must be at least 6 months prior to submission. - Must take a full 6 months off from any Good Samaritan Society and Marshfield Clinic Health System location as well. - Skills checklist cannot contain any N/As; all lines must have a numerical rating.
Unit Details: - General med/surg patient population. - Uses AccuDose, bladder scanner, Phillips monitors, and telemetry. - Nurse-patient ratios: 5:1 on days and 6:1 on nights.
Shift & Scheduling: - Every other weekend and every other holiday.
Floating Requirements: - Home unit is 2W, but can float to any med/surg unit on any campus in Fargo as needed.
14 days maximum time off
2 Charge/Lead references required from within the last 12 months
Driver’s license required for submission
Certifications:
• BLS (Basic Life Support)
