About the Job The Law Office of Ligori & Ligori is seeking an experienced Litigation Paralegal with a strong background in Medical Malpractice, nursing home negligence, and Assisted Living Facility (ALF) abuse and neglect cases. This is an opportunity to be a vital part of a client-centered legal team, supporting attorneys in all phases of complex litigation. If you're detail-oriented, highly organized, and passionate about advocating for victims of institutional neglect, we want to hear from you.Qualifications Five or more years of experience as a Florida Plaintiff Personal Injury Litigation Paralegal.Florida Registered Paralegal (FRP) for at least 5 years.At least one trial appearance.Experience preparing cases for trial.Excellent customer service and communication skills.Self-starter, self-motivated with the ability to meet deadlines.Strong work ethic and excellent organizational skills.Exemplary tenure with previous employers.Must pass a criminal background check.Bilingual (Spanish-English) is a plus.4-year degree or a two-year paralegal degree.Job Duties Schedule depositions, hearings, mediations, and arbitrations as needed.Prepare cases for trial and attend with attorneys throughout the trial.Organize, draft, review, and file all discovery and respond to discovery.Organize the file and prepare it for trial.Prepare pleadings, motions, complaints, and orders under the supervision of attorneys.Maintain and follow up on all non-party production documents, including requests for copies and non-party logs.Provide legal support to attorneys and other paralegal staff.Use the E‑filing system at both the state and federal levels.Draft and review Civil Remedies Notices.Maintain contact with clients, judges, and opposing paralegals.May also handle certain car, motorcycle, and/or trucking cases.Benefits $80,000–$100,000 per year.Potential monthly bonuses.1 week paid vacation after 6 months.2 weeks paid vacation after one year.3 weeks paid vacation after two years.6 paid personal/sick days per year.$50,000 life insurance policy paid by the firm.Health insurance with four options, including a Health Savings Account.Dental and vision insurance paid by the firm.Health benefits available from the first of the month after 30 days of employment.Discounted JCC gym membership.#J-18808-Ljbffr
