Medical Director Kidney/Pancreas Transplant Program
The Division of Nephrology at the University of Nebraska Medical Center (UNMC) in Omaha, NE is recruiting an experienced transplant nephrologist to join our faculty as Medical Director of the Kidney/Pancreas Transplant Program. This is a unique opportunity to provide clinical and administrative leadership for an established transplant program while helping shape its continued growth and development.
The Division consists of fifteen faculty members who are committed to providing state of the art care to our patients, training nephrologists, internists and medical students, and building strong clinical and translational research programs. We are also home to a fully accredited nephrology fellowship that offers three positions each year. Faculty within the Division are consistently rated as the top educators in Internal Medicine and have clinical and research interests in transplantation, glomerular disease, home dialysis and medical student education.
Nebraska Medicine, our clinical partner, is home to Nebraska's only transplant center, and has performed more than 4,600 adult and pediatric kidney transplants and more than 1,250 living-donor kidney transplants.
