Shift & Schedule: 36 Hours/Week | Monday: 8:00 AM–3:00 PM | Tuesday: 11:00 AM–7:00 PM | Wednesday: 8:00 AM–2:00 PM | Friday: 8:00 AM–3:00 PM
Pay Rate: $22–$24/hr

Position Overview
We are seeking a Medical Assistant to support both front and back-office operations. The ideal candidate will have experience with patient care, phlebotomy, electronic medical records, and clinical support while maintaining a collaborative relationship with the center's staff.
Responsibilities
Greet and room patients.
Schedule appointments and answer incoming phone calls.
Take patient vital signs.
Perform blood draws and administer vaccines.
Perform EKGs and point-of-care testing.
Provide additional front and back-office clinical support as needed.
Maintain a collaborative working relationship with the center's staff.
Required Qualifications
Minimum 1 year of Medical Assistant experience, in addition to an externship.
Phlebotomy/venipuncture experience required.
Electronic Medical Record (EMR) experience required.
Attention to detail, effective patient communication, and strong computer skills.
Front and back-office experience.
Experience with EKGs, point-of-care testing, scheduling, patient rooming, and taking vital signs.
Basic Life Support (BLS) or CPR certification.
Preferred Qualifications
Medical Assistant certification strongly preferred.
Occupational Health experience strongly preferred.
Interest in working in an environment focused on health education and outreach.
