Medical Assistant- $18.50/hour + full benefits
The IMA Group is looking for a compassionate, detail-oriented Medical Assistant to support our healthcare professionals in delivering high-quality medical assessments and evaluations. If you enjoy hands-on patient care and thrive on a collaborative team, this is a great place to grow your career.
What You'll Do
- Assist providers with patient care and medical evaluations
- Prepare patients for exams, including taking vital signs and medical histories
- Perform routine clinical procedures such as phlebotomy and EKGs
- Maintain medical records and respond to patient inquiries
- Keep equipment and supplies organized and stocked
What You Bring
- High school diploma or equivalent (Medical Assistant program completion preferred)
- Prior healthcare experience (MA certification is a plus)
- Working knowledge of medical terminology and strong interpersonal skills
