Medical Assistant

Medical Assistant needed for Dermatology office in Decatur and Covington  Tuesday-Friday. MONDAYS are Off. 4 -10 hour days. 2 days in Decatur and 2 days in Covington. Do not need to be certified with experience.  MUST be polished, presentable and have a great and organized personality. Will be working with a new doctor.

4/10 hour days, 7:00-5:00

Pay: $22-$26/hr DOE

They do not have to be certified with experience.

Duties:

• Prepare patients for exams
• Set up and assist provider with for all medical procedures
• Type efficiently
• history, vitals
• Assist with biopsies, surgeries and cosmetic procedures
• Call patients with results
• E-scribing prescriptions
• Handle prior authorizations
• knowledge of sterile technique and wound care
• instrument cleaning/sterilization care
• Document visit
• schedule appointments
• stock rooms with supplies
• general housekeeping duties
• EMR exp. They have Nextech
• handle high patient volume and fast pace
