This position is ideal for a dependable healthcare professional who enjoys providing personalized patient care in a professional, team-oriented environment.The successful candidate must have hands-on experience drawing blood and administering injections, along with a current Medical Assistant or CNA certification.Key ResponsibilitiesWelcome patients and assist with preparing them for appointments and proceduresObtain and document vital signs, medical histories, and other relevant patient informationPerform blood draws confidently and safelyAdminister injections as directed by a licensed medical providerPrepare examination and treatment rooms before and after patient visitsAssist providers during examinations, treatments, and in-office proceduresProperly label, process, and prepare laboratory specimensMaintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical recordCoordinate prescription, laboratory, and follow-up requests as directedMaintain appropriate inventory of clinical and medical suppliesFollow infection-control, patient-safety, and confidentiality requirementsProvide patients with professional, attentive, and compassionate supportAssist with front-office or administrative responsibilities as neededRequired QualificationsCurrent Medical Assistant or Certified Nursing Assistant certificationCurrent CPR/BLS certificationDemonstrated experience drawing bloodDemonstrated experience administering injectionsPrevious experience in a physician's office, outpatient clinic, wellness practice, or similar medical settingKnowledge of medical terminology and basic clinical proceduresStrong documentation, organizational, and time-management skillsAbility to maintain patient confidentiality and comply with HIPAA requirementsProfessional appearance and excellent communication skillsReliable attendance and the ability to work effectively as part of a clinical teamPreferred QualificationsPhlebotomy certification or advanced phlebotomy experienceExperience supporting IV therapy, wellness, integrative medicine, or specialty medical servicesExperience using electronic medical record systemsAt least one year of clinical experienceWhat We Are Looking ForWe are looking for someone who is warm, confident, and highly attentive to patient needs.
