The FBM Program is experiencing significant growth and we need your expertise to deliver amazing new technologies to our customers while maintaining the technical requirements of the strategic deterrence.We want you to support the Fleet Ballistic Missile (FBM) D5LE2 Program in the Propulsion, Structures, Ordnance, and Controls (PSOC) team by joining the Structures Mechanical Engineering group as a D5LE2 Structures Subsystem Certified Principle Engineer (CPE).
The selected candidate will be involved in overseeing new primary and secondary structure design maturation, fabrication and test campaigns through all phases of the development and production lifecycle. They will be responsible for developing requirements, bringing compliant designs to reviews, into test flights and into long range production efforts, leading a team of strong commodity level CPEs as a consistent and cohesive team, ensuring program Technical Performance Measures (TPM) are met and delivering hardware within the programs cost and schedule constraints.
Note: US citizenship and ability to obtain Top Secret clearance is required.

Manages the research, planning, design and development of mechanical products and systems such as instruments, controls, robots, engines, machines and mechanical, thermal hydraulic or heat transfer systems for production, transmission, measurement, and use of energy. Responsible for coordinating subordinate employee recruitment, selection and training, performance assessment, work assignments, salary, and recognition/disciplinary actions. Directs application of research to the planning, design, development, and testing of mechanical and/or electromechanical systems, instruments, controls, engines, and/or machines.
