We are seeking a Mechanical Engineer (Plumbing) (EIT) to support the design and delivery of plumbing systems for commercial and educational facility projects. This role focuses on plumbing design, engineering calculations, Revit/AutoCAD drafting, and construction documentation within an MEP consulting environment.

Pay: 90-100k+/yr

Position Summary:
We are seeking a Mechanical Engineer (Plumbing) (EIT) to support the design and delivery of plumbing systems for commercial and educational facility projects. This role focuses on plumbing design, engineering calculations, Revit/AutoCAD drafting, and construction documentation within an MEP consulting environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design plumbing systems for commercial and educational facilities
• Perform engineering calculations and prepare plumbing drawings using AutoCAD and Revit
• Develop project specifications and construction documents
• Review RFIs, submittals, shop drawings, and addendums
• Conduct field investigations and prepare field reports
• Design domestic water, sanitary waste, vent, storm drainage, natural gas, and fire protection systems
• Participate in client meetings and project coordination
• Assist with project management and construction administration activities

Requirements:

• B.S. Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
• Minimum 2 years of experience
• Passed the Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) Exam
• EIT certification or actively pursuing EIT
• Experience with AutoCAD, Revit, Bluebeam, and Microsoft Office
• Knowledge of building codes and plumbing system design
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
• Previous experience in an MEP consulting environment

Preferred Qualifications:

• Strong Revit experience
• Experience designing K-12, educational, or commercial projects
• Knowledge of fire protection, fuel gas, and specialty gas systems
• Ability to independently manage smaller projects
• Construction administration and field inspection experience
