As a Meals on Wheels Driver for Horizons, you'll deliver warm meals - and a friendly face - to community members who count on your visit.What you'll doDeliver accurate, timely, and temperature-appropriate meals to clients and designated drop-off locationsAssist in packing coolers, review meal counts before distribution, and load/unload vehiclesPerform daily safety check-ins with clients and maintain sanitary delivery practicesKeep vehicles clean and in working order; adhere to all driving laws at all timesComplete required paperwork and communicate daily progress with your team and supervisorSupport pantry operations and other tasks as neededRequirementsValid Iowa driver's license and auto insuranceClean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR check required)High school diploma or equivalentAble to lift up to 40 lbs; walk and stand for extended periodsReliable transportation to and from workWho you areYou're a dependable, compassionate team player with a genuine care for older adults and people with disabilities.
