Job Responsibilities
The Truck Driver- CDL B is responsible for safely operating a collection truck, and providing prompt, courteous and complete waste removal services for customers. In addition, a Driver – CDL B is responsible for ensuring his or her vehicle follows the Company’s safety standards prior to operating the vehicle. This role is also tasked with ensuring that all regulations (company, state, & federal) are always adhered to while operating the vehicle. The position requires the completion of vehicle condition reports (“VCRs”) daily to ensure that any vehicle defects are repaired in a timely manner.
Qualifications
CDL B TRUCK DRIVER Qualifications:
- Must hold a Class B or higher Commercial Driver’s license with air brake endorsement
- Must either have or be willing to attain a DOT Medical Licensure
- Must be able to commute daily for onsite work in Cedar Rapids, IA
- Must be legally authorized to work in the USA without sponsorship
- Must be able to communicate effectively in English (written, verbal, auditory)
- Ability to interact with customers, dispatchers, & others to ensure all routes are serviced in a timely/professional manner
- Must have ability to perform the physical aspects of this role
- Must have ability to follow all company/state/federal safety policies & procedures.
