MDM / Data Analyst

We are looking for an experienced MDM / Data Analyst with strong hands-on expertise in Master Data Management, Data Quality, Data Governance, SQL, and BI reporting. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of MDM architecture and at least 5+ years of hands-on experience working with an MDM platform, including implementation and ongoing data management processes.

This role requires a combination of technical data expertise, analytical capabilities, business understanding, and strong communication skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and support Master Data Management (MDM) solutions and processes.
• Work with MDM architecture, data models, workflows, matching, survivorship, and data integration processes.
• Leverage 5+ years of hands-on experience with an MDM tool/platform to support implementation and enhancement initiatives.
• Analyze and improve data quality, data completeness, accuracy, consistency, and integrity.
• Support and implement Data Governance processes, standards, policies, and controls.
• Analyze large and complex datasets using SQL and identify trends, anomalies, data issues, and business insights.
• Build, maintain, and optimize datasets and data structures required for analytics and reporting.
• Develop and maintain BI reports, dashboards, KPIs, and data metrics for business and technology stakeholders.
• Partner with business, data, technology, and governance teams to understand requirements and translate them into effective data solutions.
• Identify data quality issues and work with stakeholders to develop remediation strategies.
• Document data definitions, business rules, data lineage, and MDM processes.
• Communicate data-related findings, recommendations, and issues clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on experience with MDM tools, processes, and implementations.
• Strong understanding of MDM architecture and implementation methodologies.
• Strong knowledge of Data Quality and Data Governance principles.
• Solid background as a Data Analyst with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong SQL skills, including the ability to query, analyze, validate, and troubleshoot complex datasets.
• Experience building, maintaining, and analyzing data for business reporting and analytics.
• Experience developing BI reports, dashboards, KPIs, and data metrics.
• Strong understanding of data structures, data relationships, data validation, and data management processes.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively with business users, data teams, developers, and leadership.

• Other enterprise MDM platforms
