Marlin Bar Shift Manager

Job Summary

The Marlin Bar Shift Manager is responsible for leading front-of-house restaurant operations, supervising team members, ensuring excellent customer service, managing staffing and payroll, supporting employee training and development, maintaining operational standards, and creating a safe, productive, and engaging work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and support front-of-house restaurant team members.
• Foster a positive work environment that promotes employee growth and customer service excellence.
• Maintain appropriate staffing levels and manage payroll within budget.
• Coordinate employee training and monitor performance.
• Communicate effectively with restaurant staff, management, and corporate partners.
• Ensure consistent execution of company policies and operational procedures.
• Partner with the Restaurant General Manager to improve restaurant operations and processes.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and professional work environment.
• Enforce food safety, workplace safety, and operational compliance standards.
• Support daily restaurant operations and guest satisfaction.
• Perform additional duties as required to support business operations.

Requirements:

• Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds frequently.
• Ability to bend, stoop, kneel, and stand for extended periods.
• Ability to safely operate restaurant equipment and tools.
• Willingness to work flexible schedules based on business needs.
• Strong leadership, communication, and team management skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced restaurant environment.
