SWA, an internationally renowned landscape architecture, planning and urban design firm, is seeking a full-time Marketing Manager for its Downtown Los Angeles studio. Our diverse portfolio encompasses various scales, geographies and client types. A candidate's ability to capture the entrepreneurial spirit of SWA will determine their success.
We are looking for a resourceful professional who takes pride in being well organized and enjoys the challenges of a dynamic environment. The ideal candidate will have 5-7+ years of relevant marketing experience, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively with colleagues and senior management. The Marketing Manager must have excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong decision-making ability and attention to detail. Additionally, an extensive knowledge of the landscape architecture/planning industry and innate curiosity to find answers through research are vital to this candidate's success at SWA.
Interested applicants should be able to demonstrate strong graphic/communication skills and experience preparing RFQ/RFP responses using desktop publishing software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, MS Office, etc.).
Key responsibilities:
Prepare and complete all sections of the RFPs and RFQs, including writing the key sections, team composition, schedule and fees, under the guidance of the Principals.
Prepare and complete other marketing collateral, meet deadlines for all submittals and work under the guidance of the Principals.
Prepare interviews decks, project tear sheets, resumes, and bios.
Assist in maintaining the firmwide CRM software.
Manage and deliver award submissions, responsible for the writing with input by team members
Manage and deliver speaker panels and presentations for major national conferences, responsible for the writing with input by team members
Coordinate with the Firmwide Marketing & Communications team including support of social media efforts.
Assist principals on media/publications, professional appearances, and outreach initiatives
Develop and maintain relationships with consultants and strategic partners to assist in creating the most strategically positioned and technically competent team.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's or Master's degree, plus documented professional experience
Minimum 5-7+ years of experience with marketing tasks in A/E/Landscape/Planning industry environment
