Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled Marketing Manager II to join our team on a contract basis. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in project management, working with cross-functional teams, and client engagement. This role involves managing large integrated projects, ensuring stakeholder needs are met, and driving digital creative deliverables from conception to delivery. The position requires a proactive approach to risk management, strong leadership skills, and the ability to foster positive relationships with team members and partners.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide project management thought-leadership, oversight, and support on all project deliverables.
  • Lead with a solution-focused approach to encourage best practices and ensure process and project controls are followed.
  • Manage large integrated projects throughout all stages of digital creative deliverable execution, from conception to delivery.
  • Facilitate digital creative requirements gathering to ensure stakeholder needs are clearly understood and aligned with defined processes.
  • Participate in capacity planning across creative teams to provide a clear view of utilization and bandwidth.
  • Establish a strategy of continuous risk management to enable proactive decisions and actions throughout project execution.
  • Encourage positive thinking and consider key partner and business needs in decision-making.
  • Build and foster strong relationships with team members and key partners.
  • Partner with Account Directors and Account Managers to manage regular portfolio business reviews with key stakeholders.
  • Collaborate on the preparation of digital creative marketing recommendations, strategies, and actions for partners.
  • Perform other duties and/or special projects as assigned.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree. In lieu of a degree, a high school diploma/GED and 6 years of experience leading digital creative projects in an agency environment.
  • 4+ years of project management experience.
  • Experience managing and mentoring cross-functional team members with high integrity and the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse team toward a common goal.
  • Experience leading digital creative projects and managing resources for an advertising agency (either external or in-house agencies).
  • 3+ years of experience using project management software (Workfront preferred).

Desired Characteristics:
  • Understanding of the digital creative process and how to balance it with project management and workflow.
  • Experience navigating large and complex organizations, including gaining access to key executives and stakeholders and successfully managing relationship-building dynamics and processes.
  • Strong conflict resolution and problem-solving skills.
