Job Description:

The client is seeking a Marketing Manager to lead brand storytelling and content strategy for a growing data center development firm. This role will partner closely with executive leadership to translate complex infrastructure concepts into clear, compelling narratives across PR, events, and digital channels. This is a highly visible, hands-on role focused on shaping brand voice, executing content, and elevating how the company shows up externally.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

  • Partner directly with executive leadership to capture vision and translate it into clear, compelling brand messaging
  • Develop and execute content strategy across channels including LinkedIn, press releases, thought leadership, and event communications
  • Own content creation end-to-end, including writing, editing, and publishing across digital and print platforms
  • Support and market industry events, conferences, and announcements through cohesive messaging and collateral
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external partners (PR firms, agencies, designers) to execute campaigns and initiatives
  • Maintain and manage an editorial calendar to ensure consistency in voice, tone, and messaging
  • Translate complex infrastructure and data center concepts into accessible, engaging content for a B2B audience
  • Monitor brand presence and optimize messaging based on performance, audience engagement, and market insights

Requirements:

Must-Haves:

  • 3–6 years of experience in B2B marketing, communications, or brand storytelling
  • Strong writing and editing skills with experience creating thought leadership, PR, or executive-level content
  • Proven ability to translate complex ideas into clear, compelling messaging
  • Experience developing and executing content across multiple channels (PR, events, social, digital)
  • Experience working cross-functionally with internal stakeholders and external partners/agencies
  • Comfort working directly with senior leadership to shape messaging and brand voice
  • Experience in B2B environments such as infrastructure, real estate, energy, industrial, or related fields
  • Ability to operate in a fast-paced, hands-on environment with strong ownership and execution

Nice-to-Haves:

  • Experience in data center, digital infrastructure, or real estate development industries
  • Background working in agency environments or across multiple brand portfolios
  • Experience supporting executive communications, ghostwriting, or founder-led brands
  • Familiarity with AI tools for content creation and optimization
  • Existing relationships with media, PR, or industry networks in the DC area
