Description

Are you an organized, detail-oriented professional looking to build a career in marketing and business development within a professional services environment? LHH is recruiting for a full-time Marketing & Business Development Assistant to support a collaborative marketing team for one of our client in the legal services sector.

Location: Chicago, IL - Hybrid - 3 days in office (relocation not available)

Compensation: $50K-$65K

This is an excellent opportunity for an early-career marketing professional who enjoys administrative support, event coordination, communications, and project management while gaining hands-on exposure to marketing operations and business development initiatives. You will gain hands-on experience across marketing, communications, business development, events, and digital marketing. You will work closely with experienced professionals in a collaborative environment. You will develop skills that can lead to future growth into Marketing Coordinator or related marketing role. You will also gain exposure to a wide variety of marketing initiatives and strategic business development activities.

Role Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, Business Administration, or similar.

  • 1-3 years of administrative, marketing, communications, or professional office experience in a law firm, accounting firm, consulting firm, or other professional services organization.

  • Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook).

  • Familiarity with CRM systems, email marketing platforms, or marketing databases.

  • Experience with Canva, website updates, or social media management.

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a professional environment.

  • Experience handling confidential information with discretion and professionalism.

  • Self-starter mindset with a willingness to support a variety of projects and initiatives.
